Wind and Solar Communications Node: Demonstration of VOIP ...

An inexpensive communications network that brings internet connectivity to remote locations. Nodes are powered by a home-built wind turbine and a solar panel which enables Wi-Fi and VOIP connectivity. This project was located on a hill at Rochester Institute of Technology where it operated for over a year. Sadly, the project has since been removed to make room for a parking lot.
